The Role:

This position demands an extremely high level of technical expertise and proven track record in designing, implementing and managing Windows servers in vast online environments across multiple sites. Experience of Linux servers will also be required. Proven ability working alongside the Database teams and QA teams and first class people and management skills are paramount requirements to being considered for this well paid and demanding role that only the best in their field need apply for.

Candidate Profile:

Working to SLAs across the enterprise, you will posses at least 7 years experience in large scale 24/7 data centres running MS SQL Server and MySQL with SAN and NAS storage solutions. You will have multi vendor network switching and routing and firewall experience and load balancers including Cisco, Juniper and Netscaler in both LAN and WAN environments. Familiarity working hands on with Enterprise applications including MS Exchange. You will have very good hands on knowledge of Network Security and monitoring & statistics gathering for corporate and production systems, network and applications to enable exceptional service delivery measured against KPIs and ongoing planning. You will be reporting to the Technical Director, which will require you to be extremely focused and results driven and equally customer focused and organised your interest in technology should be off the radar and your business focus not far behind, if at all!

An ability to compare technical specifications and network solutions a choose the right one for sound business and technological reasons and be able to communicate this choice to technical and business stake holders. You must be able to build trust with internal and external clients through delivery of world class solutions. A rounded individual with excellent trouble shooting skills and ability to manage lead and inspire a team of highly technical systems and network design and implementation practitioners. ITIL process experience would be desirable. Sound knowledge of Infrastructure development in software development, testing and deployment, plus a working knowledge of the gaming industry or high transactional payment processing systems is highly desirable. You should ideally posses a Computer Science degree and at least one highly recognisable systems and one network certification.
